UCAS and next steps
The Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) is the centralised service used for the application to most Universities in the UK.
At Sir Henry Floyd Grammar School we will fully support students in the application process. We will help them choose the course that is right for them, offer advice when writing personal statements, and will give practical help with interview technique. The deadline for most courses is 29 January 2025.

Higher Level Apprenticeship
Higher apprenticeships give you the opportunity to gain Level 4 qualifications or above. Some offer the opportunity to progress to Level 7 (which is postgraduate degree level). As an apprentice you are employed and paid a wage throughout the course, training costs are co-funded by the government and employer.
