Academic Curriculum

The curriculum at SHFGS is academic, ambitious and founded on the school vision. The curriculum is challenging and is not narrowed at any Key Stage. The school teaches a very broad range of subjects throughout, encompassing and going beyond National Curriculum subjects, complemented by a strong co-curricular offer.

Curriculum Policy

The PSHE curriculum covers all statutory elements of PSHE education, including relationships and sex education. Please reference the policy section to view the PSHE and RSE policies, including information with regards to how to opt out of RSE.

The PSHE curriculum at SHFGS is live and responds to the contextual safeguarding landscape, this includes assemblies, tutor time, discussions and a range of guest speakers. The curriculum above provides a sample of core topics taught throughout the year.
